I was born in Lancashire and began my art training at Warrington School of Art.

Having spent some years as an art teacher in Inner London and Shropshire, I moved to Cornwall in 1997 and have been captivated by the coastal scenery of Penwith ever since.

My work is mainly centred around the sea, the beaches and the harbours and the constantly changing weather conditions of St Ives and the Land’s End Peninsula.
