Dominic Hewitt is a professional photographer based in Bristol who has been taking photographs for over 30 years.

He is interested in the alternative view of the landscape, looking beyond the norm for the hidden beauty within his surroundings.

He specialises in urban decay and the juxtaposition of man’s progress with the depletion of the Earth’s resources; his images record the remnants of times past. Working digitally, he brings out the hidden colours and textures which the human eye can't see.

His pictures often finish up being a small fragment of the original image as he repeatedly reassess' and refines them so they become a different interpretation of the original shot
