St Ives Arts Club - What's On

We host events throughout the year in our downstaire Exhibtion Space and our upstairs Theatre. During St Ives September Festival and St Ives Literature Festival in May we host events every day.

These include:

  • Art Exhibitions
  • Art Classes
  • Talks
  • Workshops
  • Theatre
  • Live Music
  • Poetry
  • Comedy
  • Cabaret
  • Films

Some events are open to members only - as indicated in the listings below for each event.

Most are open to anybody - we'd be delighted to welcome you to the club. Tickets are available from The Club, St Ives Tourist Information, event organisers and / or on the door. Ticket arrangements vary according to the event - see the individual listings.

Most of our art exhibitions are free - simply come along during opening hours to view. There is usually work for sale - often pieces by St Ives artists that you won't find anywhere else. Prices are reasonable and in a range to suit all budgets.

If applicable we advise you to buy tickets in advance for most events in the theatre - numbers are limited to between 40 and 60 depending on the event.

You can bring your own wine and refreshments - we provide the glasses.

Then you can sit back and enjoy the unique intimate atmosphere of our club.

September Festival - Alistair Brown - Songs and Stories

Scottish singer Alistair Brown has travelled the world singing the old songs, and new songs written by people who like the old songs.

Audiences at concerts and folk festivals across the UK, Canada, the USA, Australia, and New Zealand have responded enthusiastically to his performances, covering the field from big ballads, comic ditties, songs of struggles (usually unsuccessful) against temptation, odes to conviviality and songs of unashamed sentimentality with outrageously funny stories from a master of the art.
