St Ives Arts Club - What's On

We host events throughout the year in our downstaire Exhibtion Space and our upstairs Theatre. During St Ives September Festival and St Ives Literature Festival in May we host events every day.

These include:

  • Art Exhibitions
  • Art Classes
  • Talks
  • Workshops
  • Theatre
  • Live Music
  • Poetry
  • Comedy
  • Cabaret
  • Films

Some events are open to members only - as indicated in the listings below for each event.

Most are open to anybody - we'd be delighted to welcome you to the club. Tickets are available from The Club, St Ives Tourist Information, event organisers and / or on the door. Ticket arrangements vary according to the event - see the individual listings.

Most of our art exhibitions are free - simply come along during opening hours to view. There is usually work for sale - often pieces by St Ives artists that you won't find anywhere else. Prices are reasonable and in a range to suit all budgets.

If applicable we advise you to buy tickets in advance for most events in the theatre - numbers are limited to between 40 and 60 depending on the event.

You can bring your own wine and refreshments - we provide the glasses.

Then you can sit back and enjoy the unique intimate atmosphere of our club.

Cheap Seats Community Cinema

A great selection of films, different genres to cover all tastes. From Arthouse and independent to documentary and old favourites.

All are welcome for a good communal evening which we hope will inspire and entertain.

Film - Crazy Heart
Starring Jeff Bridges, Maggie Gyllenhaal
and Colin Farrell.
Directed by Scott Cooper, 2009.
Bad Blake is a broken down hard-living country music singer who's had too much of everything along the way, yet Blake can't help but reach for salvation with the help of Jean, a journalist who discovers the real man behind the musician. Jeff Bridges gives a master class in acting and is worth the movie alone, and with Gyllenhaal & Farrell this is a slow-burn, realistic film with great character development...come and see it.

Monday 24th October 2016
Film - 7.30 pm - Doors 7.00 pm.

Tickets - available on the door:
£4.00 / £3.50 (members).
